We slept in tree houses! I saw everlasting burning flames erupting spontaneously from the faces of mountain cliffs! We hiked through Roman ruins and swam in the clearest, bluest Mediterranean seas yet. It was a lovely weekend getaway.
I have to admit, the tree house accommodations were a little on the rustic side, and I did get lost in the orchard on the way home from my shower. A nice British man helped me find my way. Early Sunday we were awakened in our arboretum perch by the noises of the menagerie. The damned sheep would not stop bleating. I feel so outdoorsy. :)
